Accessibility at Cowbell
Everyone is welcome in Cowbell Country. Cowbell is proud to have received receive an ‘Accessibility Certified Gold’ rating from the Rick Hansen Foundation. Staff members receive diversity, inclusion and accessibility training annually.
Parking & Passenger Drop-off
Parking
Six wide accessible parking stalls with painted access aisles and crosswalk to sidewalk with curb cut. Parking for EV charging, campers and motorcycles is also available.
Passenger Drop-off
Level area in front of building with a wide curb cut that has colour contrast and is tactile.

The path to the main entrance is level and covered to protect from the weather.

Front Doors
Double door has power door opener and a vestibule for access to the restaurant or the store.
Service Counter
Staff will greet you at the service desk and then take you to your table.
Building Layout
Main floor has store, restaurant, bar, and washrooms. Stairs or elevator access to second floor for games room and tour of brewery. Curved stairway has railings both side and tactile indicator at top.

Restaurant
Hightop Tables
High top tables are located in the bar area of the restaurant.
Standard Tables
The majority of the seating in the restaurant is standard height, wooden chairs without armrests. Tables seat 2 to 8 people, with two types of table legs.
Patio
Patio tables are under the sheltered roof of the patio or have an umbrella to block the sun. Tables are accessed from inside the restaurant.

Folio-style menu. Menu reader available upon request.
Brewery Tour
Private guided tours available for purchase. Guests are able to explore facility on their own.
Store
Cowbell beverages and merchandise are available in the store.
Games Room
Open 7 days a week with bar service on weekends, unless booked for a special event.
Bar
Main bar is always open with a variety of beverages on tap.
Upstairs bar is open on weekends.
Puréed Food
Puréed options available. Ask your server.
Curbside Pickup
Curbside pick-up is available upon request. Please call 519-523-4724.
During high traffic times in the summer months, this service may not be available.
Washrooms
Main Floor
Multi-stall washrooms on the first floor as well as a universal washroom.
Universal Washroom
Large UW with adult size change table, emergency call system, toilet with grab bars, child size change table, paper towel dispenser and garbage and sink. Power door opener at left of sink.
Adult Size Change Table
Fold down adjustable height adult size change table with controls attached to a cable. Safety rail folds down and out of the way for transfer.
Toilet
Tall toilet has L bar on wall and fold-down bar on transfer side. Sanitary disposal on wall below bar and toilet paper in front of grab bar.
Handwashing
Roll-under sink has protected pipes, low mirror and soap & paper towel within reach of the front of the sink.
Multi-stall Washrooms
Gendered multi-stall washrooms are located on the main floor.
Second Floor Washrooms
One second floor washroom is UW with power door opener and tall toilet with grab bars. All are washrooms are gender-neutral.
Service Animals
Pet Relief Area
Relief area is located immediately adjacent to accessible parking spaces on the east side of the parking lot.
Water Bowls
Water dishes are available for animals. Please ask your server.
